Canadian environment minister Jonathan Wilkinson on February 25 unveiled the board that will advise the federal government on how best to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
The 14-member Net-Zero Advisory Body will be co-chaired by Marie-Pierre Ippersiel, CEO of Prima Quebec, and Dan Wicklum, CEO of The Transition Accelerator in Alberta. Among the body’s members are Peter Tertzakian, deputy director of ARC Energy Research Institute, Linda Coady, executive director of the Pembina Institute, and Catherine Abreu, executive director of Climate Action Network Canada.
