The newest iteration is designed and engineered to deliver an unmatched combination of even more legendary 4x4 capability, superior on-road refinement, premium styling and craftsmanship inside and out, and a host of advanced safety and technology features. The result is the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, for the first time ever with seating for six or seven.
The upright fascia, thinner grille, and slimmer headlights give the 2021 Grand Cherokee L a handsome look reminiscent of its bigger Wagoneer sibling. Out back, there s a similarly squared-off rear end, with massive horizontal taillights and a partially blacked-out D pillar. The base wheels measure 18 inches in diameter, but wheels sized up to 21 inches are available depending on trim. To fit that extra row, the wheelbase has been extended 6.9 inches over the previous model.
The Grand Cherokee L s interior has received a major update, with a new dash layout that includes a standard 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 8.4-inch central touchscreen, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There s a new steering wheel and a rotary-style shift knob. Buyers of the Overland or Summit trims will have the option to increase that touchscreen s size to 10.1 inches.
