Brownstown school board approves personnel-related matters
Tim Taylor
BROWNSTOWN
Brownstown Central Community School Corp. classified employees and administrators will receive a boost thanks to a recent action by the board of school trustees.
Superintendent Tim Taylor recommended an increase in the corporation’s health insurance contribution by $600 for individuals and $1,400 for family plans and the number of personal days by two for those who receive them. Both were unanimously approved.
Taylor said it’s consistent with what the board provided for teachers when approving their contract in November.
The board also approved increasing the number of sick days for bus drivers by two.
