Vietjet recently celebrated the Vietnamese National Day with increased services, flying some 1,501 flights and carrying nearly 260,000 passengers as well as new route announcements for the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) – Jakarta (Indonesia) and Hanoi – Yangon (Myanmar) routes.
On this special occasion, the number of passengers carried increased by 27% against the same period last year with on-time performance standing at 88.3%. Vietjet also deployed supplementary staff in its Technical department, Flight Operation, Ground Operation departments etc. to offer passengers the best services.

VOV.VN - The authorities of Prey Veng province in Cambodia announced on June 6 that a 69-year-old Vietnamese citizen who had previously tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus died after undergoing a week of treatment.
The female patient was initially hospitalised on May 30 after suffering from symptoms such as a shortness of breath, a fever, and a persistent cough for four consecutive days.
Upon arrival at hospital she was immediately tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, with the test results coming back positive.
The woman had resided in Prey Veng city before eventually passing away on June 5 due to COVID-19.
