This was announced in a new decision by Minister of Transport Nguyễn Văn Thể. In Notice No 214/TB-BGTVT, Thể asked investors of four component projects of the Long Thành Airport Project to complete the construction and installation of equipment before March 31, 2025 for testing and approval must be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

HÀ NỘI The State-run Airports Corporation of Việt Nam (ACV) said it is committed to start construction of Long Thành International Airport’s passenger terminal early next year.
ACV, which is the investor of the expensive and ambitious transport hub project in the southern province of Đồng Nai, told the transport ministry in a meeting held on Monday that the first component of the project – demining – is ongoing, while walls surrounding the land intended for the project (1,810ha of priority area) are being simultaneously carried out.

CENTRAL REGION After a decade of stable growth, the central region s tourism and services triangle of Thừa Thiên-Huế Province, Đà Nẵng City and Quảng Nam Province faced poor growth in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Reports on the region unveiled at year-end meetings saw COVID-19 blamed for creating the most difficult time for the region in 2020, with problems set to continue into this year.
