(MANSFIELD, OH) OhioHealth has partnered with The Friendly House to operate a “pop-up” COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the underserved neighborhood of Mansfield’s North End. OhioHealth Wellness on Wheels will administer the first dose of the two-stage Pfizer vaccine on Friday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at The Friendly House, 380 N. Mulberry St., in Mansfield. Walk-ins are welcomed.
This vaccine location is in addition to the OhioHealth Ontario Health and Fitness Center, 1750 W. Fourth St., which has been OhioHealth’s centralized location for vaccine administration in Richland County.

SHELBY, Ohio – OhioHealth Shelby Hospital celebrated its centennial on April 20, 2021. To commemorate this 100thanniversary, OhioHealth announced a $100,000 commitment to Shelby’s Downtown Revitalization Project, led by the Community Improvement Corporation of Shelby.
“Over the past 100 years, Shelby Hospital has been committed to the health and wellness of Shelby and its surrounding communities. This moment in time seems especially monumental as we continue to manage through a pandemic,” said Vinson Yates, president of OhioHealth Shelby Hospital and OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. “As trying as the past year has been for our staff and for our community, today we are excited to look forward to Shelby’s future. The $14 million OhioHealth Ashland Health Center is now open at 1720 OhioHealth Way near the corner of Ohio 250 and George Road in Ashland. OhioHealth broke ground on the two-story, 22,000-square-foot health center in November 2019. The facility includes emergency services, imaging and lab services on the first floor, and provider practices and rehabilitation services on the second floor. The project will add 50 new jobs to Ashland.
