Development of Area C in the Whistle Bend subdivision is moving forward.
A public hearing on the matter was held by city council at its meeting Monday, but there were no submissions.
Area C has been divided into phases eight, nine and 10.
Administration is now bringing forward zoning for phase eight.
“Phase 8 design ensures a mix of housing forms, tentatively including 17 single-detached lots, 47 townhouse lots and three multi-family lots, accommodating approximately 90 residential units,” says the administrative report prepared for council.
“The actual development potential will be confirmed through detailed engineering and subsequent subdivision. Adjacent land to phase 8 will also be zoned for greenbelt and public utility.”
