Father and son, both former Central Florida police officers, arrested in Capitol riot investigation Published  Former police officers charged in Capitol riot Federal prosecutors have identified Kevin A. Tuck, 51, and his son, Nathaniel A. Tuck, 29, as the subjects of arrests related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. LAKE MARY, Fla. - Two more arrests have been made in Central Florida in the investigation into the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, including a father and son with ties to local law enforcement agencies.  Prosecutors on Thursday identified Kevin A. Tuck, 51, and his son, Nathaniel A. Tuck, 29, as the subjects of the arrests in a news release sent to FOX 35 News.  FOX 35 News has confirmed that the two are father and son.

Officer Kevin Tuck has been with the Windermere Police Department since 2019 and before that worked for 6 years with the Longwood Police Department. Tuck s son- Nathaniel Tuck- is a former officer with the Apopka Police Department who resigned last year. In a statement, Windermere Police Chief David Ogden said he s disheartened by Tuck s arrest. Tuck resigned from the agency Thursday morning. The father and son are facing a long list of charges including obstruction of an official proceeding, aiding and abetting, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, entering and remaining in the gallery of congress, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.

Florida Officer and Cop Son Charged With Taking Part in Capitol Riots After Bragging to Family On 7/15/21 at 11:32 PM EDT Two former Florida police officers were arrested on Thursday after participating in the Capitol riots on January 6. Kevin Tuck, 51, and Nathaniel Tuck, 29 were brought up on five charges, including obstructing an official proceeding, aiding and abetting, entering restricted grounds, disorderly conduct inside the Capitol building, and parading or picketing inside an official building. Both men appeared before a judge in Downtown Orlando to receive their charges. While the elder Tuck remained in the gallery of the Capitol building, the younger Tuck struck an officer twice before entering the Capitol building.

Tuck, who is also a longtime Christian pastor, resigned from the force following his arrest. His son Nathaniel A. Tuck, who is also charged, was a former police officer in nearby Apopka, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Windermere Police Chief David Ogden said in a statement that he is “disheartened” by the arrest. He said the department “has worked tirelessly over the past eight years to build a reputation of serving with Honor, Integrity and Service to our residents and this arrest doesn’t reflect on the hard work of the men and women of the Windermere Police Department.”
