A man, with a history of making and detonating homemade explosives, was arrested in Washington County for having explosives and illegal drugs in his car.
Logan Mertlich, 36, was arrested for drug possession charges, handling a dangerous weapon and recklessness, according to a probable cause affidavit.
An officer pulled over a white passenger vehicle Saturday after it failed to use its turn signal and police discovered it had no insurance.
Mertlich, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle that smelled of marijuana, was in the driver s seat.
