Ex-Cal CB Camryn Bynum Signs Four-Year Contract With Vikings
Fellow ex-Golden Bear Jake Curhan signs as undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks.

It was not a matter of if the Vikings would sign former Cal cornerback Camryn Bynum, but when.
It happened on Friday, as Bynum agreed to a customary deal for a fourth-round draft pick, according to multiple reports.
Bynum signed a four-year, $4.19 million deal with the Vikings, who plan to move him to safety, a position he did not play at Cal. Bynum was the only Cal player taken in the 2021 NFL draft.

The NFL draft is less than a week away, and the most unusual and unprecedented in league history will finally begin.
There’s little doubt that five quarterbacks will be selected in the first round, with most, if not all, likely going very early in the round. It’s expected the Jacksonville Jaguars will select former Clemson star quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 pick. The New York Jets are expected to grab former BYU quarterback Zach Wilson. San Francisco 49ers’ head coach Kyle Shanahan has said they will select a quarterback. He didn’t say which quarterback and they have kept their decision secret.
Historically, 53 percent of first-round picks from each year end up being busts.
Meanwhile, every year, there are also certain players I fall in love with when evaluating. Typically these are guys who play the game the way it was meant to be played. They play with heart, and they play to win.
