Frontier Texas! is a museum that celebrates the Texas Frontier located just a short 10 minute walk from the Abilene Public Library Main location. You’ll want to check it out this summer in particular as the library’s own Tony Redman will take part in special live reenactments this summer in the Frontier Texas! courtyard.
A short drama will bring to life the shootout at the Cattlemen’s Exchange. Free, and open to the public, shows begin Saturday, May 29 at noon and continues every Saturday thereafter (except June 12) until July 10. HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A 32-story emergency radio tower became pretty much a done deal on Feb. 3, but it didn’t bubble up into the public consciousness until late in February when the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Commission mentioned it at its meeting.
West Lake Park will undoubtedly become the place for a new 32-story tower, the 16th and final new emergency radio tower or Broward County.
Neighbors in the thick of the fight knew it was brewing, but many didn’t find out until Wednesday that the deal was fairly cemented.
