The Academy will deliver 20 training places to individuals with degrees who wish to retrain in the legal aspect of financial services.
Training will be delivered remotely over a five-week period by Belfast Met, Ulster University and Queen’s University.
Participants who complete the Academy will be guaranteed an interview for a position with FinTrU.

Artemis Technologies and Belfast Met have announced a new apprenticeship programme offering a “once in a lifetime” opportunity to play a role in the future of maritime transport.
It marks a major milestone for the Belfast Maritime Consortium project, led by Artemis Technologies, to create transformative marine technologies and a new range of zero-emission vessels in the city.
Commencing in September 2021, the three-year Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship will combine classroom tuition with hands-on experience at Artemis Technologies, working alongside its team of world-leading experts.

Focussing on Modern Applications Development, the Assured Skills Academy will see participants receive industry-relevant pre-employment training with Belfast Met from 12 April to 6 July.
Participants who complete the Academy are guaranteed a job interview for a role at Microsoft in Belfast.
Highlighting the opportunity, the Minister said, “I am pleased to announce this Assured Skills Academy with Microsoft and Belfast Met.
“This is the second Assured Skills Academy with the company after it established a Cyber Security Centre in Belfast in January 2020.
“This Academy is an excellent opportunity for people to reskill for a role at a global software company.
“And I urge anyone who is interested and eligible to apply.”
