Bradley Dean Cothren, 54, Kenmare, was sentenced on Tuesday to five years in prison, all suspended but the 15 days he already served in the Ward County Jail, and three years of supervised probation for Class B felony delivery of methamphetamine in Minot on April 2, 2018.
North Central District Court Judge Richard Hagar also ordered him to pay $1,100 in restitution and $1,350 in court costs and to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation.
A warrant is out for the arrest of his co-defendant, Lisa Marie Lalonde, Centralia, Wash., who is charged with Class B felony conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine.
According to court documents, a confidential informant working with the Ward County Narcotics Task Force arranged to buy one ounce of meth from Lalonde at her residence for $1,100. Cothren was also present. Lalonde introduced the confidential informant to Cothren and they negotiated over the drugs and ultimately agreed to $1,060 as the price for the meth.
