(New Jersey Attorney General s office) MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ Four suspects are behind a spree of 84 home invasions/burglaries across the state in the past year, and some of the break-ins occurred in Middlesex and Monmouth counties, according to New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal. The 84 total burglaries all took place between October 2020 and March 2021, in eight different New Jersey counties: Morris, Bergen, Essex, Somerset, Passaic, Monmouth, Middlesex and Union, as well as lower New York state.

(Shutterstock) FAIRFIELD, CT A Fairfield man was arrested over the weekend in New Jersey in connection with numerous burglaries in the tri-state area, according to authorities. Authorities said Patrick Ryan, 30, had been under investigation for more than a year by multiple agencies in three states. He is accused of burglarizing numerous residents throughout the tri-state area, including locations in New Jersey, New York, along with New Canaan, New Milford and Greenwich. Ryan was apprehended by officers as a result of a multi-jurisdiction investigation. He was in possession of several victims personal property as well as specific tools used while committing these burglaries, police said.

Chickens wreak havoc at New Jersey McDonald s By FOX 5 NY Staff Published  Credit: Washington Township Police Department NEW JERSEY - A flock of angry chickens in Warren County, New Jersey wreaking havoc at a McDonald s drive-thru this week. Police in Washington Township received a 9-1-1 call on Tuesday about the angry birds attacking customers in the parking lot of a McDonald s located on Route 31 South. An Animal Control Officer responded to the scene and saw the chickens harassing and chasing customers, along with pecking at car tires. We cannot confirm at this time if they were targeting specific customers (with chicken nuggets and sandwiches in hand) or random customers, the Warren Township Police Department said in a humorous Facebook post.
