WARNER ROBINS, Ga.
Correction: A previous version of this story said 71-year-old Michael Brown died from his injuries in the accident. Warner Robins Police have since
retracted their initial release and said that Brown is still alive.
The full text of their retraction is below: We are happy to advise that Mr. Michael Brown, was NOT a fatality in the accident earlier this morning. Mr. Brown did sustain serious injuries and is in very critical condition at Navicent Macon, but thanks to the life-saving measures of medical personnel and expertise of the facility, he has survived. During our on-scene work, officers were advised the driver was deceased and our preliminary information was inaccurate. We are extremely sorry for the misinformation and for any distress we caused upon any family or friend of Mr. Brown. Our continued prayers for his recovery.
