Earlier, when they were a part of the Zilla Parishad (ZP), a lot of their issues could not be resolved as the gram panchayat said it did not have the wherewithal to do so. Now, as the area has merged into Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), they have been told to wait till the transfer is finished. This has left residents hanging in the balance, with no authority even prepared to work on their problems. Meanwhile, PMC has claimed that onground work has started.
