Newly released emails indicate the Trump White House wanted the Justice Department to pursue 2020 election challenges and examine baseless claims related to Dominion Voting Systems and foreign entities flipping votes from former President Donald Trump to President Joe Biden, despite Attorney General William Barr concluding he hadn’t unearthed voter fraud that would change the outcome.
The House Committee on Oversight and Reform released 232 pages of DOJ emails, titled “Selected Documents President Trump Pressure Campaign on Department of Justice,” focused on the period following Barr’s resignation, with now-former acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen taking over.
Just before Barr’s resignation was announced, White House staffer Molly Michael sent Rosen a Dec. 14 email “From POTUS” on “Antrim County Talking Points,” which contended, “This is the evidence that Dominion Voting machines can and are being manipulated … A cover- ....
