Isuzu D-Max Sees Increase In Orders
Jul 14, 2021
Isuzu Malaysia has reported a 100% increase in orders for the all-new Isuzu D-Max since its launch in April 2021. The vastly-improved 3rd generation of this popular pick-up truck from Isuzu has averaged a monthly booking of over 1,200 units. The previous monthly bookings averaged about 500 units.
This sales trend is in line with neighbouring markets for the D-Max i.e. Australia, New Zealand and Thailand. The growth in sales can be attributed mainly to its fresher and sportier design, enhanced ergonomics and improved engineering.
“This all-new D-Max phenomenon that has swept the various markets has been somewhat overwhelming. Needless to say, the attractive design, new and improved features and proven Isuzu reputation contributed significantly towards convincing customers to switch or upgrade to this all-new D-Max model,” said Isuzu Malaysia’s Chief Operating Officer Masayuki Suzuki.

Funny thing about the history of oranges here: When the founders named us Orange County, we weren’t exactly overflowing with citrus. It was 1871, only eight years past a drought that wiped out cattle fortunes and forced the sale and development of huge tracts of land. So it’s possible the branding was something of a gimmick: If we name it, they will come. And come they did the oranges, and the people, too.
