An Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar TD, is officially launching a new âgreenâ enterprise support this morning, to mark the beginning of Local Enterprise Week (1 to 5 March).
The Green for Micro programme, an initiative from the Local Enterprise Offices with support from Enterprise Ireland, is being rolled out nationwide to help prepare small businesses for the low carbon, more resource efficient economy of the future.
Today marks the beginning of Local Enterprise Week, which was launched by the Tánaiste, Leo Varadkar.
A number of initiatives will be taking place across the week including virtual FREE and low cost events such as training workshops, one to one mentoring, information webinars and masterclasses with experts. The week has information and supports for all small businesses whether planning, starting, sustaining or growing their business in 2021.
Common topics across the week include starting a new business, resilience and recovery, the green economy, becoming ‘leaner’, exploring new markets, doing business online and the new trading relationship with the UK. For the first time, Local Enterprise Week also includes 10 ‘Spotlight’ events. These are open to all business nationally.
