Self-isolate or Moray will become isolated : Concerns about Covid rule breakers

Concerns have been raised people are continuing to visit other households despite displaying signs or the virus or being identified as a close contact of someone who has tested positive. The sharp rise has put in doubt the region moving to Level 2 restrictions with the rest of the country later this month. Sign Up A campaign has been launched by Buckie-based Truerlein to reinvigorate Dufftown’s tourist trade with Destination Dufftown in conjunction with Visit Moray Speyside. This comes after the company revealed in February it was working on a six-year vision to make the town the “beating heart of Speyside”.

A £343,000 funding boost for the popular walking and cycling trail was announced more than two years ago to make it more durable to weather damage. Now work on the six-mile section between Craigellachie and Aberlour has been completed – with four timber bridges replaced, new tunnel lighting installed and improved drainage.
