Staff reports Put-in-Bay Barbershop Quartet singers return Aug. 13 PUT-IN-BAY - The annual Put-in-Bay Barbershop Quartet Show at Perry’s Monument Visitors Center is set for 7 p.m. Aug. 13. The program will showcase about 20 talented quartets from around Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Each foursome will share two songs. Close to 100 singers will combine for a grand finale. The program is presented to the public free of charge, with sponsorship provided by The Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center. The Put-in-Bay Barbershop Singers have performed at Perry’s Peace Memorial for over 70 years. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. A limited amount of chairs will be available. In case of rain the concert will be moved to nearby Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church.
