Vegans are a diverse bunch. Among them, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, queer, intersexual, and asexual/aromantic (LGBTQIA) folks have been integral to the movement for animal liberation. In addition to fighting for animal rights, these rad vegans also have a history of working towards consistent anti-oppression and fighting against all forms of social injustice, including toward specific communities such as queer, trans, Black, and Indigenous. SEATTLE Many of our kids were given new devices for the holidays and from smartphones to tablets, all of them have the ability to download apps.
While the most popular apps are fun and help us stay connected, they can also be used to target our kids.
Social Media Intelligence expert Dr. Steven Webb is the author of Education in a Violent World: A Practical Guide to Keeping Our Kids Safe. As a police officer and educator, he wants parents to understand that, Many apps not generally regarded to be part of the social media dark side can be used by pedophiles, cyberbullies, and online predators to find, contact, harass, and control our children.

Musical mastermind and frontman Mike Gribben said: “This was one of the first songs we wrote for the record and it became evident that it should close the whole album because of how powerful it felt to us. Everybody stepped up vocally and it felt like our anthem by the time we finished it.”
Ferocious Love was born after several tragedies faced by Mike in the last year, and serves as the five-piece’s most personal, emotional, and visceral release to date. The record begins with the death of the male singer’s best friend and partner of many years and, from there, follows his extended mental journey of grief, depression, and eventual acceptance.
