Minnesota State Patrol: 4:09 a.m. Wednesday, Interstate 90 and mile marker 51, Ewington Township, Jackson County. Driver Dafoe Dean, 52, and passenger Crystal Dafoe, 41, both of Lakefield, were traveling westbound on Interstate 90 in a 2017 Ford Escape when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed. Both were taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

(MURFREESBORO) Demolition work on the square block of downtown property that once was home of First Methodist Church. The One East College, LLC mixed-use development will be constructed on 2.42 acres along East College, North Spring Street, East Lytle Street, and North College Street. Interior demolition work had begun in January 2020.
The original church sanctuary and bell tower will be renovated and remain to be incorporated into the redevelopment. Construction on the new buildings for the mixed-use development is not expected until the first half of 2022, following construction plan development and approval.
