Aldi Australia has unveiled its first ever Corner Store - complete with freshly pressed orange juice, an in-house café serving barista-made coffee, an artisan bakery and self-serve checkouts.
The state-of-the-art store, the first of its kind, has officially opened its doors in North Sydney on Wednesday, offering shoppers a convenience-driven experience on a smaller scale.
The small format convenient store under a new concept name is about half the size of a standard Aldi, which typically measures 1,200sq m - and features a new store layout to maximise efficiency, a modern interior design complemented by simple navigation, and extended trading hours.
