Grover Beach police arrest burglary suspects, one rearrested

Police officers arrested a pair of alleged thieves in Grover Beach on Friday, one of whom was rearrested on Sunday following her release from jail.
Early Friday morning, Grover Beach patrol officers found Robert Inacio, 26, of Oceano and Layla Reid, 19, of Nipomo with two electric bicycles and a set of keys. Investigators also determined Robert and Reid had been involved in a burglary three days prior in which a generator was stolen.
Inacio confessed to stealing the items from the North Beach Campground in Pismo Beach and from a vehicle in Arroyo Grande, according to the Grover Beach Police Department.
Oceano Dunes reopening for more vehicles, campsites today

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) More areas of Oceano Dunes and Pismo State Beach in San Luis Obispo County will reopen to visitors on Friday.
California State Parks officials said Tuesday they are moving forward into the next phase of their reopening plan. Starting Friday, February 19, both parks will be open daily from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Officials say only 1,000 street-legal vehicles and 1,000 off-highway vehicles will be allowed at both parks each day.
Those who would like to camp at Oceano Dunes or Pismo State Beach will be able to in this new phase. One-hundred campsites within Oceano Dunes will be open to visitors.

OCEANO, Calif. – Off-road riding and camping are allowed once again at the Oceano Dunes and Pismo State Beach Friday after closing down for almost a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
California State Park Officials announced Tuesday they are moving forward to phase two of the three-phased reopening plan beginning Friday.
This includes a limited number of sites within Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area and Pismo State Beach.
The day use hours is 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and State Parks is limiting the daily allowed number of Jeeps, trucks and off-highway vehicles.
