KEYNOTES: Thompson family reunites after second vaccination dose
Rosemary Rimkus
Like families everywhere, the four generations of the family of Hudson residents Raymond and Muriel Thompson look forward to post-COVID, when they can again gather for special occasions. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 3, 2019, just before the pandemic struck, but they have been “masking and distancing” for over a year.
With Covid restrictions since March 2020, it has been impossible to visit, hug or see their little ones, or other family members. Recently both received their second vaccination, and were finally able to meet their newest grandchild, Halle, 3 1/2 months old, for the first time. Parents of seven daughters and one son, they now embrace 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Their children are Muriel, Frances, Eileen, Nora, twins Clare and Mary Anne, Raymond and Jeanne.
