Seniors Taylor Springs, Jailey Cardenas, and Mia Cevallos were among the 11 SHS softball players recognized on the 26-5A All-District team for the 2021 season.
(Seguin) – Seguin softball players Mia Cevallos, Allison Kubena, and Ashlie Aguilar made the All-District 26-5A First Team to lead a group of 11 Matadors who received post-season recognition in a vote by the district’s head coaches.
Cevallos, a senior outfielder, hit .317 with a home run, 15 RBIs, and 18 runs scored this spring.
Kubena, a junior outfielder, led the Matadors with 19 RBIs and scored 14 times.
Aguilar, a sophomore infielder, posted a .403 batting average, a .479 on-base percentage, 21 runs scored, three doubles, and 15 runs driven in.
