After obtaining, a possible location of Hamilton members of the U. S Marshal Fugitive Task Force, located and took custody of Hamilton without incident. Hamilton is being charged with Vandalism, a Felony of the 5th Degree and Escape, a Felony of the 2nd Degree. Hamilton is scheduled to appear in the Elyria Municipal Court on Monday, July 19, 2021. Both Hamilton and Kevin McKitrick escaped from the Lorain/Medina Community Based Correctional Facility last month. McKitrick turned himself in on Wednesday.

Kevin McKitrick surrendered to authorities Wednesday afternoon at the Lorain County Jail in Elyria after two days of phone conversations with sheriff’s detectives, members of U.S Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and other authorities, according to the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office. He has been charged with escape and vandalism, and is scheduled to appear Thursday in Elyria Municipal Court.
