AMBASSADOR MASSALLY ENGAGES LIBERIA SECURITY PERSONNEL ON THE SAFETY OF SIERRA LEONEANS IN LIBERIA
His Excellency Eddie S. Massally together with you the Deputy Ambassador Jonathan Saffa and the Head of Chancery Mrs. Sia A. Tejan have today 11th May held a very important meeting with security personnel, including the Liberian Immigration Services.
The meeting was geared towards the security and protection of Sierra Leoneans residing in Liberia.
In his opening remarks,Ambassador Massally conveyed greetings from His Excellency President Rtd. Brig. Julius Maada Bio. He expressed concerns over the way Sierra Leoneans are being arrested for documents including for Residential and Work Permits, and raised concerns on how these issues could be addressed.

The Government of Liberia has read with deep concern a newspaper publication attributed to the Management of Radio Bushrod (D-15 Radio), giving the Government a 48-hour ultimatum to publish an indictment drawn against Mr. Henry Pedro Costa or it will go ahead to grant him air time on their platform.
The Government seriously considers such ultimatum as a form of threat, and calls on the Management of D-15 FM Station to reconsider the gravity of such statement which has the potential to undermine the rule of law and create unnecessary tension.

After the Management of D-15 Radio issued a two-day ultimatum to the Government of Liberia to provide the indictment that could substantially ban talk show host, Henry P. Costa, from relaying his daily podcast, The Costa Show, on the local radio station, the Government of Liberia, through the Information Ministry, says said ultimatum is considered as a form of threat and therefore the station’s Management should reconsider the gravity of such statement as it has the potential to undermine the rule of law and create unnecessary tension.

The Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel Falo McGill has been accused of been responsible for what is currently taken place where some opposition members were arrested, and the sexual harassments of some female members of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP).
Speaking on a local radio station in Monrovia, CPP Youth Whig Chairman, James Morris said the Minister of State should be held responsible for his role in the crisis in the County which led to the presumptive winner of the County senatorial seat, Madam Botoe Kanneh.
Emergence of country devil renews tension in Normor, Gbarpolu County, ahead of senatorial election

Daily Observer has reliably learnt that the leading senatorial candidate in Gbarpolu, Madam Botoe Kanneh, has been kidnapped to an unknown location. The incident comes following reports on Monday, December 14, of the release of a ‘country devil’ in Normor Datando town, electoral district number three, Gbarpolu County, which has renewed electoral tensions ahead of the midterm senatorial election, scheduled for Tuesday, December 15, 2020.
As the result of electoral tension that started on December 8, when local authorities, of Normor seized ballot boxes, preventing people in the town from voting, the National Election (NEC) rescheduled the election in the town, while announcing results from other counties.
