I periodically check messages on a website I maintain for my deceased former husband, Ben Martin, a
Time/Lifephotographer. The other day I read a message from “Tracey” that brought back bittersweet memories of the man I married fifty years ago, July 3, 1971.
. . .Today I purchased an aluminum camera gear case that belonged to Mr. Martin at a flea market/antique store in Bristol, TN. My research introduced me to the work of Ben Martin and brought me to his site. As an amateur photographer I am humbled and honored to have it. I only wish it could talk! LOL.
We all want the water back : Wilkinson County to raise money to rebuild dam, refill Lake Tchukolako

Some lakefront owners in Wilkinson County have been fundraising for eight months to restore their lake.
Last year, Lake Tchukolako was a sparkling body of water.
On May 1, 2020, the dam breaching causing water to pour out from the lake.
Lakefront owner Leigh Scott vividly remembers the next day. When I got up the next morning and I go out and the water was not even at the end of my dock, that s how much water disappeared overnight, said Scott.

Rounding out the main cast were Kathryn Leigh Scott as waitress Maggie Evans and Mitchell Ryan as Burke Devlin, a local man with a vendetta against the Collins family. The show premiered in June 1966.
