A Norfolk wetland centre is set to reopen its wildlife hides and café next week.
Welney Wetland Centre, near Wisbech, has announced people will once again be able to view wildlife from inside its popular hides and the multi-level observatory from Monday, May 17.
Welney s Wigeon café will also be able to offer indoor seating for visitors for the first time since last summer.

WWT Welney Wetland Centre reopens on May 17 when government restrictions on closing indoor areas are lifted.
Social distancing and other guidelines will be observed across the site in all areas, including inside the four hides.
Leigh Marshall, centre manager for Welney, said: “As spring turns to summer, this is a fantastic time of the year to spot birds including black-tailed godwit, bittern and sedge warbler, as well as other wildlife like dragonflies, damselflies and wildflowers.

WWT Welney Wetland Centre launches half-term family challenge with Prince of Wales

WWT Welney Wetland Centre are joining the Prince of Wales Waterside Wednesday Challenge this half term to inspire budding young conservationists.
Launching today, the Waterside Wednesday Challenge is one of six daily challenges for families to encourage children to get outside and connect with connect with nature locally.
Leigh Marshall, centre manager said: âWelney Wetland Centre is delighted to be helping set Waterside Wednesday, as part of the Prince of Walesâ Half Term Nature Challenge this week. Getting children outdoors and developing their passion for nature helps create future conservationists and is fundamentally good for young peopleâs health and wellbeing.
