COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina women’s golf enters postseason play as the team to beat. The Gamecocks are the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
“It’s a testament to the great season we’ve had,” said Gamecocks head coach Kalen Anderson. “It’s a huge honor. Very proud of our players.”

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The University of South Carolina women’s golf team is headed to the Bluegrass state as the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division I Louisville Regional, set for May 10-12 at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Ky., NCAA officials announced on Wednesday.
Clemson Earns 8-Seed in NCAA Regional Selection
Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson women’s golf team was one of 18 teams selected for the Columbus-regional at the Ohio State University Golf Club – Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. The 54-hole event will take place from May 10-12 with the top six teams from each regional site advancing to the NCAA Nationals set to be played at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. from May 21-26.
“This has been a tough year,” said Head Coach Kelley Hester. “I think we all feel blessed and fortunate to know that we are going to be having an NCAA Regional this year and that we are going to be there competing. I think our team is a good 8-seed and believe they made a really good run this spring – we are looking forward to that regional in Columbus.”

, Ohio (Nebraska Athletics) – Kate Smith shot a scorching 64 (-8) to tie her own record for the best individual round in school history and capture Nebraska’s first-ever Big Ten women’s golf individual title on Sunday. With Smith leading the charge, the Huskers earned a tie for second with No. 19 Maryland and No. 25 Michigan to post their best team finish at a conference championship since earning runner-up honors in the Big Eight in 1984.

The Florida men’s golf team finalized its spring 2021 schedule, head coach JC Deacon announced Friday.
The Gators will kick off the season in Jacksonville at the Timuquana Collegiate, taking place at Timuquana Country Club. This is the first time they will compete in the event, which is set to take place Jan. 25- 26.
Florida will then host the Gators Invitational presented by VyStar. The Gators won this event last year, with sophomore Ricky Castillo triumphing in the individual tournament. He shot a 13-un
