Over 260 African American Faith Leaders Endorse Governor Murphy and Lieutenant Governor Oliver for Reelection
NEWARK Governor Phil Murphy and Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver today received endorsements from over 260 African American faith leaders representing parishioners across the Garden State. Members of the African American faith community commended the Murphy-Oliver administration for enacting transformational progressive policies that have uplifted communities of color and moved New Jersey forward.
Faith leaders highlighted Governor Murphy and Lieutenant Governor Oliver’s commitment to eliminating deep-seated racial inequities in wages, health care, housing, education, access to the ballot box, and the criminal justice system.
