SHREVEPORT, La â The Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission announced, today, that the 2021 CenterPoint Energy Red River Balloon Rally Presented by the Louisiana Office of Tourism set for June 11-12 will now be at the Brookshire Grocery Arena located at 2000 Brookshire Arena Drive, Bossier City, LA 71112.
Due to the unprecedented rain Shreveport-Bossier City has received in the past few months, on Monday, June 7 the LSUS administration made the decision to not host the festival due to overly saturated grounds. The Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission is thrilled to partner with the Brookshire Grocery Arena to host this incredible event.

It s that time a year again for the CenterPoint Red River Balloon Rally June 11-12, in Shreveport-Bossier at the LSUS Campus, featuring more than 30 hot air balloons from the US Team Nationals competition.
The CenterPoint Energy Red River Balloon Rally is presented by the Louisiana Office of Tourism and this family-friendly event kicks off at 6 PM on June 11, with the Faith and Family Friday Night featuring a flight over the LSUS campus. Tethered balloon rides will be available from 6 PM - 11 PM (weather permitting) and a balloon glow at dusk. Then at 7:15 PM there will a Christian concert from former American Idol Christian artist Danny Gokey, followed by a fireworks show at 9:30 PM.
