New Lisbon School District to Increase School Days by 5 Minutes
Students in the New Lisbon School District will trade 5 extra minutes a day for 2 less school days in the School Districts school year. Students in New Lisbon will now attend school from 8am until 3:20pm. It had gone from 8am until 3:15pm. The amount of school days will decrease from 175 to 173. This was approved by the New Lisbon School Board during their February 8
th meeting. New Lisbon School District instructors will now have 185 day school year which is a slight increase. This change will take place over the next two School District years. The School District would start just before Labor Day in September and end before Memorial Day in May.

Schools in Juneau County closed starting March 18 in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Governor Tony Evers on March 13 directed Department of Health Services Secretary-designee Andrea Palm to issue an agency order mandating the closure of all public and private K-12 schools in Wisconsin, including Juneau County, according to a release from Eversâ office.

Lisbon, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The Lisbon School District announced this week that they have made a major purchase of technology to help students learn in the class room and abroad.
According to a press release from the School District, they have spent around $315,000 to help students in the elementary, middle, and high schools.
The high school received over $125.000 to spend on upgrades and additional equipment. Including 75 new Microsoft Surface Pros. The middle schools received over $86,000, for 75 new Microsoft Go’s and other equipment. The elementary school received over $104,000 for 15 Newline interactive panels, plus numerous Microsoft Surface and Go’s.
The money came from the Lisbon School District Technology fund and the federal governments CARES Act.
