Suzanne Cook celebrated 35 years of service at MHA The Martins

A Bury St Edmunds care home worker has celebrated working more than three decades at MHA The Martins where she has supported residents live with dementia.
Suzanne Cook, marked her 35 years of service celebrating with staff and residents, where received gifts and well wishes as well as being presented with a certificate of recognition from MHA for her unfaltering dedication to her role.
She first joined the care home back in 1986 on a training placement and has worked as a domestic throughout the home ever since, and has gained NVQ qualifications in cleaning along the way.
Liz Fleming, a Pinehurst-based digital marketing coach who teaches small business owners and hobbyists how to better market themselves, will host a free virtual conference for makers on April 28-30.
The Made By: Me Summit features 20 experts who will discuss ways that makers and home crafters can simplify and scale their online businesses.
âNo fluff, no catch, just a few days of free advice to help those who need it most right now,â Fleming said.
âThe event is virtual and reaching makers worldwide but itâs a great opportunity for the local makers we have around town. Our local community is actually what inspired me to create this event,â said Fleming, who developed The Bloom Crew as a learning-based forum last year. âIâve seen how much businesses are struggling with all the uncertainty stemming from this pandemic and wanted to do what I could to help them.â
Award winners were determined by a vote of USTFCCCA member coaches. Only those individuals from USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Many of these honored athletes and coaches are headed to the
2021 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships next week in Birmingham, Alabama.
Men’s Track Athlete of the Year
ATLANTIC REGION – Julian Griffin – Wheeling
Griffin, a freshman from Lebanon, Ohio, is ranked first regionally in the 60H at 8.28.
CENTRAL REGION – Ryan Riddle – Missouri Southern
Riddle, a sophomore from Webb City, Missouri, is ranked third nationally in the mile at 4:01.07. He is also ranked 20th nationally in the 5000 at 14:09.72. Riddle earned the MIAA High Point Award at the conference championships with victories in the mile and 3000 as well as runner-up effort in the 5000.
