NO. LIVERMORE At the North Livermore Baptist Church May 2 service the congregation was welcomed by Pastor Bonnie Higgins at 9:30 a.m. to begin the service.
The Call to Worship was read and the Invocation/Lord’s Prayer was recited. The hymns that were sung was “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing”, “The Solid Rock”, “Break Thou the Bread of Life”. We completed the service with Communion”. Linda Lyman is the organist each week.
The sermon, titled “Be In The Now”, and reading the scripture from Genesis 50:20. Pastor Bonnie started with how we will dwell in the past or look to much into the future and not live with today. We can’t change the past, we can’t do anything about what hasn’t happened yet, so it makes sense to live for today. NO. LIVERMORE At the North Livermore Baptist Church April 25 service, the congregation was welcomed in by Pastor Bonnie Higgins at 9:30 a.m. to begin the service.
The Call to Worship was read and the Invocation/Lord’s Prayer was recited. The hymns that were sung was “Standing on the Promises”, “Trust and Obey”, “We are Called to be God’s People”. We completed the service with “Go Now in Peace”. Linda Lyman is the organist each week.
The sermon, titled “Idols”, and reading the scripture from Exodus 20:1-6. Pastor Bonnie also read from Psalm 115:2-8. Pastor Bonnie began with examples of people and things that we don’t consider as idols but we actually make them idols. People like athletes, TV stars, movie stars, singers, money, cars, boats, homes, etc. Basically, anyone or thing we put above God is an idol. NO. LIVERMORE At the North Livermore Baptist Church March 7 service the congregation was welcomed by Pastor Bonnie Higgins at 9:30 a.m. to begin the service.
The Call to Worship was read and the Invocation/Lord’s Prayer was recited. The hymns that were sung was “I Know Whom I have Believed”, “’Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus”, “Blest Be the Tie That Binds”. Linda Lyman is the organist each week. At the end of the service, Communion was served.
The sermon, titled “Think of Others” reading the scripture from Luke 12:13-21. Pastor Bonnie started off about the author of “Blest Be the Tie That Binds” hymn. The author, John Fawcett wrote the song because he was leaving a small church to a larger church when the day, they were saying good-bye to the small church they realized that they couldn’t leave that church, they were a family and they ended up being there for fifty-four years. The song is about thinking of others and unity as a whole.

The sermon, titled “God’s Breath” reading the scripture from Genesis 2:7-8. As we make another step towards the cross, this week Pastor Bonnie talked about the beginning of man. Sometimes children are told they are an accident, or they are pushed aside because no one wants them.
