Huddersfield Town were taken to extra-time before coming through 3-2 at Liverpool Feds in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup 2nd Round.
The only tie in the competition to go ahead on 3 January saw the FA WNL leaders taken all the way by their lowed division hosts.
Jodie Mortimer forced a one-on-one save from Huddersfield keeper Lauren Joyce early on but for the Terriers Kate Mallin hit the post from a free-kick and Laura Elford struck the crossbar.

Serena Fletcher is clattered in Liverpool’s danger area. Mallin tries the effort from range and hits the post. So close! The best chance so far!

Liverpool Feds entertain FA WNL Northern Premier Division leaders Huddersfield Town in a 3pm kick off at Jericho Lane FC.
While the Feds have won two of only three Division 1 North games that they have played this season, the Terriers have recorded eight wins in ten outings that sees them six points clear at the top of the table.
