In one month, Fayette County Public Schools will celebrate graduation for the Class of 2021. The newly-named Class of 2021 valedictorians and salutatorians for the five county high schools will be at the head of the class on May 28.
Fayette County Highâs valedictorian is Daniel Manning. Manning will attend Georgia Tech and major in Business Management with a concentration in Strategy and Innovation. The salutatorian is Hannah Flintoff. Flintoff will attend Covenant College and major in Elementary Education.
McIntoshâs valedictorian is Libbie Larsen. Larsen will attend either Brown University or Georgetown University and major in Political Economy with a History minor. The salutatorian is Elise Johnson. Johnson will attend Georgetown University and major in International Political Economy.

At Penn State, many upperclassmen choose to move into off-campus apartments to finish the rest of their college years. However, the experience has changed this year in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
Some apartment complexes in State College require tenants to follow coronavirus protocol for Pennsylvania. However, when it comes to consequences for residents disobeying mitigation efforts, there sometimes isnât much apartment complexes can do.
Taryn Strickland, a tenant in Park Hill Apartments, said she believes the complex can do a better job at keeping residents safe. Park Hill requires students to wear masks in the hallways, but students donât always obey this, according to Strickland (junior-human resources).
A coroner has blasted the utterly bewildering decision to send a ten-week-old baby back to her parents where she died from a catalogue of injuries in the same council where Baby P died in 2007.
Lily-Mai Saint George collapsed in her family home in Tottenham on January 31, 2018, and died of her injuries two days later at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The coroner ruled on Monday that her killing was unlawful but police said there is insufficient evidence to charge either of her parents Darren Hurrell or Lauren Saint George.
An inquest at St Pancras Coroner s Court heard Lily-Mai had 19 rib fractures and a serious head injury which caused her death.
