With the FBI warning of a nationwide campaign of armed protests at all 50 state houses beginning this weekend, state officials in Pierre say they ve issued a Capitol event permit to a pro-Trump, Christian nationalist group called Jericho March for Sunday, Jan. 17. A national organization called Jericho s March held events last Wednesday in Washington, D.C., prior to the storming of the U.S. Capitol. (RNS) The flags emblazoned with “Jesus 2020” and the cross, the most easily recognizable symbol of Christianity, were hard to miss amid the mob of President Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol grounds and, eventually, the building itself.
