AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Texas Public Safety Commission and Texas Department of Public Safety awarded seven Amarillo residents awards for their heroic roles that involved an overturned vehicle.
PSC and DPS Director Steven McCraw presented two Adolph Thomas Distinguished Service Awards, three Medals of Valor, two Director’s Citations and 14 Lifesaving Awards to department personnel at the PSC meeting that was held on Thursday, Dec. 10.
14 Director’s Awards were also presented to partner agency personnel and private citizens at the meeting.
