Attorney General Eliminates Community Engagement Team

Office of the Attorney General was eliminated earlier this month, several people familiar with the situation tell LL. Attorney General Karl Racine hasn’t decided whether he’ll hire replacements, but he says the move will not result in less interaction with the community. “From time to time during my six years as attorney, I have reviewed aspects of our office and made various personnel decisions,” Racine says. “Of course the office will continue to have a robust community engagement effort. Indeed, dozens and dozens of OAG lawyers and non-lawyers engage with the public on a daily basis.”
