Stokes of Lincoln High Bridge Cafe reopening after revamp with new menu

Stokes High Bridge Cafe is reopening on Lincoln High Street on Monday after a revamp and with the launch of a brand new menu.
The cafe closed last year after the coronavirus pandemic restrictions were introduced, but it will reopen with a new look and refreshed menu on Tuesday, May 18.
It was designed by the 119-year-old family firm which has run the High Bridge since the 1930s.

Three City Council candidates looking for election in May 2021, got endorsed by Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) Three City Council candidates received an endorsement from Lincoln’s Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird on Sunday. Gaylor Baird touted the experience and leadership from candidates Tom Beckius, Bennie Shobe, and Sändra Washington.
“All three are part of the City leadership team that, today, is guiding, and growing our community in the midst
of the most significant challenges Lincoln has faced in over 100 years,” Gaylor Biard said.
Councilman Bennie Shobe, who is running for re-election, talked about the importance of having strong leaders during historic and challenging times.
