The situation at the southern border is only getting worse, and when it comes to solutions, there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. It has been challenging to gain insight into the extent of the problem primarily due to a disturbing lack of transparency on the part of the Biden administration, whose actions caused the migrant crisis.
But the crisis has caused severe problems for those affected, and if the White House does not start taking the issue seriously, the consequences could become even more dire. As it stands today, there are several ways the situation has become problematic.

Border Patrol agents stationed in the Laredo Sector and mounted on horseback had a very busy 12-hour period recently.
The Laredo Sector Border Patrol s Horse Patrol Unit (HPU) apprehended 60 individuals near Hebbronville, Texas. HPU agents apprehended 17 individuals with the assistance of an unmanned aerial system. In a separate incident, HPU helped apprehend eight individuals who were detected on board a freight train, preventing the subjects from traveling further into the country.
Responding to reports of individuals walking through different ranches along a river, HPU assisted agents on All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) in apprehending 57 individuals identified as being illegally present in the United States. Agents also apprehended a U.S. citizen brush guide who was subsequently turned over to the Laredo Police Department.

The Laredo Sector Border Patrol Horse Patrol Unit apprehended 125 illegal immigrants throughout the Laredo Sector area of operations during a busy 12-hour period.
The unit working near the Hebbronville area apprehended 60 individuals. During one incident, 17 individuals were apprehended with the assistance of an unmanned aerial system. The unit assisted agents in apprehending eight individuals in a separate incident when they were detected on board a freight train, preventing them from traveling further into the United States.
