ELKHART â The Elkhart Jazz Festival returns June 17-20 for its 33rd year in downtown Elkhart.
The festival kicks off with Truth in Jazz Big Band at 7 p.m. June 17 at The Lerner Theatre and the David Hilliket Trio at Wellfield Botanic Garden, followed by the Dave Bennett Quartet until 10 p.m. at Wellfield.
Jamican-born pianist Monty Alexander and his trio headline at 8:30 p.m. June 18 at The Lerner. Dave Bennett, the jazz fusion trio Teen Town and the progressive jazz-rock band Marbin also perform, in The Lernerâs Crystal Ballroom, while Carol Albert brings her smooth jazz to the New Life Stage.
