A judge ruled Thursday that a man and woman accused of a February 1 murder on Lawson Lane in Cantonment will remain in jail without bond.
Jonathan Taylor Hobbs and Dawn Lucille Sluder are charged with first degree premeditated murder for allegedly shooting and killing 35-year old Danny Blackmon, Jr., as his 19-year old girlfriend, who is Sluder’s daughter, watched.
Both were denied bond Thursday during an arraignment hearing before Judge Jan Shackelford. They will be back in court in early May.

A man and woman have been indicted on murder charges by an Escambia County grand jury for a February 1 shooting on Lawson Lane in Cantonment.
Jonathan Taylor Hobbs was indicted on one count of first degree premeditated murder with a firearm, and Dawn Lucille Sluder was indicted on one count of first degree premeditated murder. Both remain in jail without bond and are set for arraignment later this month.
Danny Blackmon, Jr., 35, was shot and killed as his 19-year old girlfriend watched in horror, according to Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons.
“We had a crazy and deadly series of events that unfolded in North Escambia,” Simmons told NorthEscambia.com.

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - An Amarillo teenager reported missing earlier today has been found.
Police say 19-year-old Kendall Wyatt has been relocated and reunited with his mother.
He was reported missing earlier today and had last been seen by his mother at 8:00 a.m. in the area of Lawson Lane and Plains Boulevard.
