The new parking restrictions along Waterworks Road will include a year-round ban on overnight parking as well as only allowing parking from May 1 to Sept. 30 by permit, though the south side of Waterworks Road will remain a no-parking zone year-round to allow for emergency access to the nearby Lake Huron and Elgin Area Primary Water Supply Systems. Property owners adjacent to Waterworks Road will be issued permits without a fee, and new signage will be installed at Highway 21 to ensure the area is clearly marked.
