Thirteenth Reagor Dykes employee sentenced | Internal Revenue Service

The thirteenth Reagor Dykes Auto Group employee was sentenced for her role in the auto group s floor plan fraud scheme, announced Acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Prerak Shah. Andrea Kate Phillips pleaded guilty in January to misprision of a felony. On Tuesday, she was sentenced to 4 years probation and ordered to pay $40,254,297.72 in restitution by U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk. In plea papers, Ms. Phillips, an accounting associate and office manager at Reagor Dykes Plainview LP (a Ford store in Plainview, Texas) admitted the auto group participated in a fraudulent floor plan fraud scheme.

2 more former Reagor Dykes employees sentenced in Amarillo federal court for roles in fraud

Two more former Reagor Dykes Auto Group employees were sentenced in Amarillo federal court Thursday for what U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk said was their role in the largest floor plan fraud scheme in American history.  Elaina Marie Cabral, an office manager at the auto group’s Toyota location in Plainview, and Whitney Erin Maldonado, an office manager of Reagor Dykes Imports in Lubbock, were both given 27 month federal prison sentences with no fine after they pleaded guilty to counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. However, both Cabral and Maldonado are required to pay restitution.  This comes after Kacsmaryk sentenced six other former RDAG employees Tuesday in Amarillo, giving out sentences ranging from 24 months to 42 months in prison on counts of conspiracy to commit bank fraud or counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

The latest, Ashley Nicole Dunn, was sentenced on May 25 to 30 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $19,335,901.10 in restitution; she is to self-report on July 12, 2021. On April 22, 2021, Bart Reagor, 55, was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of bank fraud. If convicted, he faces up to 90 years in federal prison, and will be required to forfeit any property traceable to the offense.

Six former Reagor Dykes Auto Group employees were sentenced Tuesday to federal prison for their roles in a massive fraud scheme aimed at cheating the company s creditors out of millions of dollars. Pepper Laray Rickman, Brad Fansler, Wesley Neel, Sherri Wood, Diana Urias and Sheila Miller, appeared with their attorneys before U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk in Amarillo for back-to-back sentencing hearings that began about 9 a.m. and ended about 6 p.m. Two more former employees are due in court for sentencing Thursday. All six defendants sentenced on Tuesday entered guilty pleas months before the sentencing hearing. Miller and Urias pleaded guilty to a count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and the other four pleaded guilty to counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

The first sentencings are set to happen on May 4, 2021 in Amarillo. The last will happen on July 27, 2021. On April 22, 2021, Bart Reagor, 55, was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of bank fraud. If convicted, he faces up to 90 years in federal prison, and will be required to forfeit any property traceable to the offense.
