SIDNEY, Maine Dave and Terry Roy were seriously injured after a large pine tree fell and crashed through the windshield of their SUV on March 2. Who the heck would ever think this could ever happen? I didn t have time to react to this, and all I can think of is I have got to get through this, said Dave.

Bennett said the company was founded in 1921 and started delivering milk in glass bottles to homes on two routes in Portland via horse-drawn wagons.

WASHINGTON, D.C., USA More than 175 Maine National Guard soldiers are in Washington, DC for inauguration security. One of those soldiers is Captain Jonathan Bratten. The overall goal is to make sure the peaceful transition of authority here in the U.S. and the standards of our democracy, Capt. Bratten said.
Capt. Bratten said Maine soldiers will be providing support to the Capitol Police and DC authorities, along with thousands of other troops from across the country.

CORINNA, Maine Ry the pet duck is getting some extra help waddling around. He s starting to really take off in it, Ry s owner, April Souza, said. The wheelchair helps take the weight off of his legs.
Souza said Ry was born with a condition called Wyrneck. Their head falls over or they will walk, but they will walk backward, Souza said.
