Emergency services have been called to an incident on the Crossley Estate
We re getting reports that emergency services are dealing with a serious incident on a housing estate in Chadderton, after being called out earlier today, April 12, 2021.
Police have been seen in attendance in the area, on the Crossley Estate.
Initial reports say North West Ambulance Service were also called out.
There is a police cordon in place around an area at the scene, with uniformed officers on patrol.
No further details have been released - emergency services have been contacted for more information.

Two people have been injured in a stabbing in Oldham this morning (April 12). There is a large police presence in the area close to Rochester Way, on the Crossley Estate in Chadderton.
North West Ambulance Service also attended the scene, taking two people to hospital.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area while the police operation is ongoing.
A section of Rochester Way has been taped off by police and there are a number of officers at the scene.
The Brooks, a new council housing scheme approved in Kidbrooke, Greenwich Council. Plans to build 80 new sustainable council homes in Kidbrooke have been approved by Greenwich Council s Planning Board, along with £750,000 to be spent on improving the local area. Collectively referred to as The Brooks , the newly approved schemes will see new council homes for social rent built along Rochester Way. And £750,000 will be spent on improving recreational spaces in the local area, including a new retail unit and an extra road crossing on Rochester Way, both of which were added on in response to feedback given by residents. All the homes will be designed to meet zero-carbon standards through the use of sustainability technologies such as air source heat pumps and solar panels.
